Ribasure 200mg Capsule is an antiviral medicine containing the active constituent ribavirin. It is used to treat chronic hepatitis C in patients aged 3 years and older. Hepatitis C is a liver infection caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV). It is always given in combination with other medicines to treat hepatitis C infection. This medicine should not be used if you have had a heart attack or severe heart diseases in the past 6 months, blood disorders (abnormal red blood cells and hemoglobin), severe kidney problems, or if you are taking didanosine (treats HIV infection).

Talk to your physician if you have breathing problems, thyroid disorders, mental health illness, anemia, vision problems, diabetes, alcohol or drug addiction, or had an organ transplant before taking Ribasure 200mg Capsule. This antiviral medicine can be very harmful to the unborn baby. Use effective birth control during the treatment and for at least six months after the last dose.

  Take Ribasure 200mg Capsule in dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the capsule whole with water and take the capsules with food. Do not crush or chew the capsules. If you accidentally touch the damaged capsules, wash immediately with soap and water.

Before using Lenalid Capsule, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Oseltamivir is used to treat symptoms caused by the flu virus (influenza). Take this medication by mouth with or without food. You may take it with food or milk to minimize stomach upset. Take this medication as soon as flu symptoms appear or as soon as possible after you have been exposed to the flu. Oseltamivir works best if you start taking it within 2 days of either of these events.

If you have the flu, take oseltamivir as directed by your doctor, usually twice a day for 5 days.

To prevent the flu, take oseltamivir as directed by your doctor, usually once a day for at least 10 days. Follow your doctor's instructions for how long to take this medicine.The dosage is based on your medical condition, kidney function, and response to treatment. In children the dosage is also based on weight.

If you cannot swallow the capsules, ask your doctor or pharmacist about the liquid suspension form of oseltamivir. If the liquid is not available and if directed by your doctor or pharmacist, you may open up the capsule and mix the contents with a small amount of sweetened liquid (such as regular/sugar-free chocolate syrup, corn syrup, caramel topping, or light brown sugar dissolved in water). Stir the mixture and take the entire dose.

This medication works best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant level. Take this drug at evenly spaced intervals at the same time(s) every day. Continue to take it for the full time prescribed. Stopping the medication too early may allow the virus to continue to grow, which may result in a relapse of the infection or failure to protect you from the flu.
